I don't really know either Jason, I do know that those rent get very little assistance, whether the reasons that lead up to their eviction are of their own making or not of their own making.

The reality is we are really helping the banks and the mortgage companies since if the real issue was Ohio caring about people not being homeless, we'd have a lot less homeless people. In Toledo alone there were 641 children reported as homeless during part of the school year. Those are just the ones the school system knows about.

There's a parking lot here in Toledo where the business owner lets families sleep in their cars. Are they any less important because they've already lost their homes? Some are there because they were foreclosed on, some are there because they lost income which got them behind and then evicted, some have drug or other problems that created evictions...

Where do we draw the line of who deserves help and who doesn't? Is the mere virtue of having been able to get a mortgage that a bank or mortgage company should have had a pretty good idea you couldn't afford make you more worthy of help than someone who lost their job?

Most voters (72%) think most members of Congress are more interested in furthering their own political careers. Just 14% believe members are genuinely interested in helping people.

I think that quote from the article you linked explains it all...

basically here is how it works:

Democrat makes a pledge to alter the republicans agenda
Republican pledges status quo

Which is easier, which happens more?

Republicans are happy, Democrats are pissed

Plus, there is Nancy...

Thanks

I'm probavly not the smartest, but doesn't it bother you how much financial assist from Hollywood bother anyone. I am speaking of Obama
Most can be directly connected to the church of scientology, a cult by christian standards,
Another thing that bothers me is to connect church and state, that will directly affect the church and could be federally regulation
I was an Obama fan,but now, I don't know. The charisma, affiliates, power, sounds very close to what has been written Econimics are horrible.remember starving people are controled by those with money,,,,,I am writing in Clinton !!!!!!!!! all the way!!!!!!!!
On Irac, any honorable man , wou;d recogniuse the fact that they are not sure what to do and listen to the peo0ple fighting ths war. To reduce troops would leave other soldiers unprotected.we showed how that worked gaining Afghanistan with only a dew and moving to Baghdad. Now Afghanistan run by Alqueda to gain money from the poppies yo sell to other countries for millions!!!!!!!!!
