On A Cold Winter Night

by Jason on December 14, 2008

In Ohio it gets pretty cold at night in the winter.  We got our last cat “off the streets” when we found him wandering along the side of a busy road at 12:00 in the morning nearly at the end of his road as he was close to starvation.  So as it gets cold, we often wonder how our little Chico survived the cold last winter.

Not only that, but my wife likes to keep it a cool 65 degrees most of the time.  So the solution to that problem?  She bought me an electric blanket.  If you check out that link, that isn’t my wife.  Juli is way hotter.  :-)

The unexpected consequence of the electric blanket is that I can’t get my first cat Louie out of bed.  He loves this blanket and will stay in bed virtually all day long.  I think he likes it better than I do.
