As a resident of a suburb outside of Columbus, I am familiar with Mayor Coleman and his policies.  And if my site hadn’t crashed, I’d link to some stories that I had written previously about him.  Oh well, no reason to dwell.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, the situation for Columbus is somewhat dire, similar to other cities across the country.  “It would have cost an extra $54.4 million to keep city services and staffing at this year’s levels.”

Maybe this will force Coleman to abandon some of his plans for downtown Columbus like his trolley idea.
