Obama Can’t Close the Deal
April 23, 2008
Its been a while since Barack Obama has one a major primary election. Its true that he is ahead in the delegate count and the popular vote count, but let’s take a look at the individual races themselves. Obama has done very well in winning small states that typically vote republican. In contrast, Senator Hillary Clinton has won every major state throughout this contest. She wins state after state in these important battleground states.
The traditional democratic voter supports Clinton. Obama has done very well at getting younger voters to register and get involved in the political process and he should be commended for that. But we must look at historical trends and data to know that many times this group does not vote and cannot be counted on to deliver the democrats the win that they so desperately crave in November.
Clinton can continue to make a strong case to the superdelegates and she has all of the facts to back it up!

She can make a real case to the Superdelegates despite what the Obama people are saying. They are starting to get nervous
Ben - You’re right. He hasn’t won anything significant since Feb. 22. That’s a good position for Clinton to be in.
